Club nights are held at the Methodist Hall, Lime Walk, Moulsham Lodge,

At 7.30 PM unless stated otherwise, the cost is £2 per night except for celebrities.

 

FEBRUARY 20th. Les Thorne  £3.00,  7pm start

A full evening with one of the best woodturners in the UK

 

MARCH 19th. HANDS ON NIGHT.

A Chance to develop your skills with 4-5 of the clubs best turners. If you join in you will have a great night.

 

APRIL 16th. Back to basics. With Brian Partridge.

As requested by many of our newer turners, but all will benefit from a master class.

 

MAY 21st Jeff Rayner   £3.00  7pm start

Jeff is our local professional turner. His studio at Barleylands is  a testament his great turning skills.

JUNE 18th   Brian Mansfield.

Every year we have a meeting away from woodturning, Brian is a pattern maker, and he has given talks at other clubs, very successfully. We will have a good evening

JULY 16th  Robin Winder.

Robin plus another club turner. If you do not know Robin you have probably heard him!!! Who is going to volunteer to demonstrate on the same night?

Robin gave us all a great evening making Shaker  boxes, This time its turning. This evening has been requested by several new comers to see a different club turner for a change.

 

AUGUST 20th  Andrew Coe  £3.00   7pm start

Andrew is a regular demonstrator around the local clubs. It will be an entertaining evening.

SEPTEMBER 17th  John Austin

John is one of the clubs best turners, noted for his trademark clocks. I wonder what this year. Aways a good evening with John one of the clubs best turners

 

OCTOBER 15th  HANDS ON NIGHT

The second session of the year, a great chance to take part and put some of your problems to bed. With 4-5 of the clubs best turners

NOVEMBER 19th  Andy Coates £3.00   7pm start

Andy is a professional turner and well-known demonstrator at local clubs. He is also the AWGB PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER. This should another good session.

 

DECEMBER 17th OUR USUAL CHRISTMAS SOCIAL EVENING.
