The Display Table |
|
| We sometimes set a project and we encourage all our members to make one or more items relevant to that project. During the meeting we spend a little time reviewing the project work. The response to this is usually very good and we have seen many original ideas since the Branch was formed. We find that many beginners will attempt the project and if they have problems our more experienced members will give them advice. | |
| Recently we have stopped having specific projects and have allowed any piece on the display table. This has led to a greater range of interesting ideas. | |

This was unusual but very interesting. Members were asked to turn anything they liked but to paint it black. This gave us the opportunity to look at form.
